Job Description: • Set all new injection moulded products by fitting tools to press, manufacture prototypes/samples/first offs and when required mould initial small order quantities (must be hands on). • Effectively introduce new Injection moulded products through sampling process bettering costed performance output. • Generate work instructions and train operators in how to effectively run the mould tools to achieve and better sampling performance. • Support in the design of, and improvement of, injection mould tools and processes. • Optimize injection press performance. • Perform process review audits • Support the introduction or automated moulding through the use of robots. • Maintain records of new product introduction processes. • Update and present status of New tools in weekly Tooling and sampling meeting.

Primary Job responsibilities: • New product introduction, sampling and prototyping of new tools • Product verification against costings • Process validation of new mould tools. • New product work instructions generation. • Assisting with the update to standard operating procedures. • Training operators following new tool implementation. • Support the Quality Manager (QM) to implement new products at TRP Sealing System Ltd. The QM has responsibility for the effective sampling of new product to ensure costing is met including, scrap rate, hourly output and material usage. • Help in the implementation of key quality tools such as SPC, FMEA and Control Plans. • Lead continuous improvement activities to improve general manufacturing performance.

Experience and Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience working as a New Product Introduction/Process/Product/Development Engineer or in a similar position within a manufacturing company. • 3+ years’ recent experience working on injection moulding presses, experience with rubber moulding and Maplan presses advantageous. • Able to read part drawings and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). • Forklift truck license • Tool fitting and setting experience • A recognized Engineering/Process improvement or similar related qualification or 5+ years’ work experience • Experience of working to the requirements of an Environmental Management Systems to ISO14001. • Experience of working to the requirements of a Quality Management Systems to ISO 9001. • Knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management Systems advantageous.
• Lean principles knowledge - six sigma green belt is preferred. Personal Attributes:

Overview TRP Sealing Systems, rubber manufacturer based in Hereford, Rotherwas Ind Est, is currently looking to recruit for the Service hand position offering new increased pay rates: • training rate £10.51/hr for a period of 6-8 weeks, rising to £11.04/hr after training completed • Extra benefits after 1 year service which include increased pay rate £11.36, extra paid holidays, medical insurance scheme. All necessary PPE provided.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Continental shifts Working hours 07:00 - 19:00/ 19:00 - 07:00, rotating days and nights, 4 on/4 off
Role/Responsibilities: • supplying compound/cords to the presses and collecting gaskets from the presses • Identifying and supplying correct materials to the presses • Keeping a clean and tidy work environment • labelling, scanning, monitoring supply levels • Organising of material supply to ensure smooth operation.

Job Title : Press Operator |

Overview TRP Sealing Systems, rubber manufacturer based in Hereford, Rotherwas Ind Est, is currently looking to recruit for the Press Operator position offering new increased pay rates: • training rate £11.98/hr for a period of 6-8 weeks, rising to £12.59/hr after training completed • Extra benefits after 1 year service which include increased pay rate £12.96, extra paid holidays, medical insurance scheme.
All necessary PPE provided.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Continental shifts Working hours 07:00 - 19:00/ 19:00 - 07:00, rotating days and nights, 4 on/4 off
Role/Responsibilities: · Manufacture of gaskets or rubber mouldings · Ensure that the product specification and Standard Operating Procedures are followed; the cure time and temperature shall be set correctly as per specification. · Examine visually/fully inspect the gaskets for faults: where cycle times allow cures on large presses, all gaskets shall be inspected. When running shuttle presses all gaskets shall be inspected prior to removal from the mould; problems shall be reported to the Team Leader/Shift Support. · Gaskets should be checked for moulded defects as often as possible during non-loading and unloading time however a full inspection check needs to take place hourly · Work with team members, Shift Support, Team Leader and other colleagues to fulfil the job requirements.
