TRP are proud to announce the successful installation of a new CNC machine at our facility in Hereford, and it represents another significant additional investment in its tool making facility.
The new capacity is a Mazak VCN 700 machine, and the equipment enhances TRP’s mould making options allowing for greater precision, consistency, and speed across a wide range of tool types. The investment will expand TRP’s capabilities, reduce turnaround times and enhance flexibility, as well as ensuring tooling can be manufactured to tighter tolerances and more complex designs, ensuring improved accuracy and repeatability throughout the production process.
Installation was completed smoothly with minimal disruption to ongoing operations, thanks to careful planning and coordination by our engineering and production teams. Staff training is already underway, ensuring our operators can fully utilize the machine’s advanced features safely and efficiently.
‘This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement,’ said Barry Galpin, TRP’s Commercial Manager, ‘and by continuing to invest in our CNC capabilities, we are positioning ourselves to better serve our customers today while preparing for future growth and innovation. In particular, the new capacity will give us improved capabilities for injection mould tools and smaller more intricate applications, and we look forward to the opportunities this new CNC machine brings and we are excited to put it to work on current and upcoming projects.’
